The Reality Is That Most People Are Broke – But Here’s What You Can Do About It

the reality is that most people broke

The reality is that most people are broke. Whether they accept it or not, it’s just the harsh reality.

I don’t care how much you’re making right now or who you are, but if you’re reading this, chances are you’re broke too.

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe you’re the richest person in your family, maybe in your village, maybe in that little city you live in, but truth is you’re still broke outside that little nest of yours.

Some of you are so comfortable because you’re the top person in your circle. Because you’re doing better than almost everyone around you.

But come on, look again, look at everyone around you.

Look at your circle.

Can you see your frame of reference?

Can you why you’re so comfortable?

You’re so comfortable because you’ve got no standard.

You’re so comfortable because your circle isn’t even a circle, because you’re around people that are below average, and you’re doing well to them.

So, yeah. You’re the cream of the crop around you, but you’re still broke.

Maybe you don’t like what I’m saying, but if you really think about it, it might just be the truth.

That’s the reality right now.

So, what are you going to do about it?

Are you just going to accept it?

Or are you going to be in denial about it and say, “oh, money don’t buy happiness”?

Is that the route you want to take?

If that’s it, then yeah. You might be right.

Money don’t buy happiness, but it buys security, it buys sustenance, it buys a measure of health, it buys comfort, it buys connections, it buys access, access to people and things you would never have the opportunity to gain access to if you were broke.

And all of those are components of happiness.

Yeah, money does not buy happiness, but it ensures you’ve got all the material components of it.

It ensures you can make someone else happy even if you’re not happy yourself.

And what brings more happiness than making someone else happy? What brings more happiness than being able to buy that beautiful toy for your kid, than being able to provide that beautiful home for your family, than making sure everyone around you got what they need materially?

The truth is, I’m not after money because of me, but for all those around me.

So don’t wake up broke today and just accept it that it’s okay. It’s not.

Do something about it.

Get off your ass, and work it off.

Go do something about your life.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

No one is coming to save you.

No one.

You’ve got to take the bulls by the horn.

You’ve got to make the hard choices.

Go monk mode.

Eliminate all the distractions.

Focus on that one thing will move the needle for you.

That one thing that will turn your life around.

I myself I’m not there yet. I’m not rich, I’m not wealthy.

But by telling you all of this, by telling you that you’re broke, I tell myself a million times more.

Stop being too comfortable in your current situation.

This is not normal.

You can do better.

You just haven’t demanded more from yourself.

It’s high time you ask more from you.

Ask more.
