Here’s How Monk Mode Can Help You Get Ahead In Life

monk mode

Do you want to get ahead in life, or are you simply tired and frustrated about the current direction of your life, and you just want to change your life DRASTICALLY for the better using whatever means you can have?

Then Monk Mode might just be that means you’re looking for.

Monk mode simply means picking a single direction, and shutting down everything else that don’t help you go in that direction.

It’s a state of complete focus, discipline and productivity where you commit everything you have towards accomplishing a single goal.

You can use monk mode to get the best out of your life if:

  • You’re in a rot
  • You don’t have clarity
  • You don’t have singularity of purpose
  • You don’t like the direction your life is headed.
  • You want to get the best out of your life.
  • You want to eliminate toxic relationships.
  • You have a clear target where you want to be in X number of months or years, and you want to do everything possible to get there.
  • You just really want to improve your life in general, and prove the naysayers wrong.

Why I Got Into Monk Mode

Earlier this year I was in a situation similar to those I described above.

I didn’t like the direction my life was headed.

I didn’t have clarity.

I was losing money in my former business, and really wanted to set things right, but I didn’t have a clear idea of what to do.

I just came out of a really ugly relationship experience.
And I just wanted to set my life in the right path again.

So, I decided I needed to go into monk mode.

I left my apartment in the city where my family is, where everybody, all my friends knew me, and I rented a 1 bedroom apartment in another town.

It was just an empty apartment. All I did was get a bed in there and a table. I added a very small refrigerator, a gas cooker and that’s it.

I told myself, I’m going to live here for the time being and sort myself out.

I don’t need friends, I don’t need the fun anymore, I don’t need people including family members that are not contributing to the direction I want to go, I just want to get to work on myself.

I want to change my life.

What do I want?

What I really want is to build a strong personal brand for myself in the next 6 months to a year.

Right now, I have no brand, but I’m in the process of building that.

Creating content that helps new creators find clarity.

Even though I didn’t start with building a personal brand, I’ve actually been a creator for some years, and made a lot of money doing that.

And I understand my toughest challenge when I got started was monetizing my content.

My goal is to use my knowledge to help new creators overcome that obstacle and monetize their content as quickly as possible.

The number one reason why we all create content is to make money from it, is to create a living out of it, to create freedom out of it.

If you’re just getting started as a creator, it’s possible you’re not going to understand the business aspect of content creation. The path that generates you the income.

And that’s where I come in.

I’m building a personal brand for myself, while helping new creators monetize their content as quickly as possible.

I’ve gone into monk mode to achieve this, and I’m not going to stop until I get what I want.

So, Here’s How You Can Get Into Monk Mode Yourself

Get as far away as possible, distance yourself from everybody not going in the same direction as you, and align yourself with people that have the same interests as you, that are going in the same direction as you.

When you really go down and access what it involves to distance yourself from everybody not going in the same direction as you, you’ll find out that it’s almost everyone around you at the moment.

Almost everyone.

Next step is to align yourself and connect with those that are going in the same direction you want to do, or those that are doing exactly what you want to do.

Now, if you don’t know anyone like that around you that you can get close to, you can always use the internet.

Register an account on X or Linkedin. I prefer X actually.

Then search a keyword that accurately sums up the direction you want to go.

You want to become a chef? Type chef on X, and you’re going to find people like that.

Follow the ones you really like, the ones you want to emulate, the ones you want to in a similar position as in the next 5 to 10 years.

And just freaking go all out, doing what they do. If they have a course, and you have the means, buy it.

Now drop everything and do what they do.

Go all out and follow in that direction, while making sure you cut all ties with every other person not going in that same direction with you.

I’m not saying you should cut them out of your life. No. I’m saying keep them out of your circle.

Don’t spend time with them.

Spend time doing that thing that will get you to that destination you want to be in the next 5 to 10 years.
