The Hard Truth About Success Nobody Wants To Hear
There are certain things you’ll say that are proven facts, but when you say them, people are simply offended, and they simply don’t want to hear them.
Success is one of those things you’ll talk about sometimes, and you risk offending people with simple facts about it.
The hard truth about success nobody wants to hear is that, not everybody’s going to make it in life. Everyone’s not going to be successful. Everybody’s not going to be a millionaire. Everybody’s not going to be wealthy.
It’s not me wishing bad on anyone. It’s just the plain fact. But nobody wants to hear it.
If you say this to superstitious people, especially where I’m from in Nigeria, they’ll think you’re wishing them bad, and they’ll tell you, “it’s your family that’s not going to make it”.
And that’s why it’s a hard truth about success nobody wants to hear.
You know why everybody’s not going to make it?
Here’s why
Making it requires some of the most hard to find ingredients, all in one person. They’re 4, and though you don’t necessarily need all 4, having all of them absolutely guarantees success.
They are:
- Hard work
- Patience
- Support
- and Luck
You’ve got to have all of these vital ingredients to GUARANTEE success. You’ve got to have all of them to guarantee that you make it.
Not everybody’s going to be hardworking. If they’re hardworking, they might not have the patience to wait for the success to come, if they are hardworking and patient, they might not have the support they need from others. Everybody needs support, no matter how much independent we think we are, we all need support.
And if you’re hardworking, and patient, and you have all the support in the world, sometimes, you might not be lucky enough. Something unfortunate can happen, and one might lose everything. And we see that all the time.
So, the truth is, having all 4 vital ingredients is what guarantees success in life.
You must be hardworking.
You must be patient for your hard work to bear fruit.
It’s very important that you find support. You can’t make it alone. You need assistance.
And finally, you must have some element of luck. The wind must be on your side, pushing forward your sails.
And very few of us have all 4. Very very few. A minority have all 4.
The only way you can make things easier for yourself, and almost guarantee that you’ll make it is to play your part.
Out of the 4 vital ingredients I mentioned, you can control 2, and those 2 are the most vital.
You can control how hardworking you are. You can either choose to be lazy or hardworking.
If you’re lazy, you’re 99.9 percent guaranteed not to make it. If you’re hardworking on the other hand, you give yourself a huge chance of making it.
You can also control whether you’re patient or not. Don’t look for quick riches, or you’re lose what you already own trying to make it.
Don’t be greedy. Work hard and be patient. That’s what you can control. You can control how hardworking you are, and you can choose to wait patiently for your hard work to bear fruit.
What you can’t control is Support, and Luck.
You can’t force people and businesses to support you. You can’t force your family to support you, you can’t force your dad, your mom, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, your wife, your husband, your siblings or even your friends to support you. You can’t force the bank or government to loan you money.
That’s a fact.
But when they do, it goes a long way to lighten your load, and helps you get your foot in the doors of success.
Lastly, you can’t control whether you’re lucky or not.
You can marry the wrong woman or the wrong man, and they might ruin your life and everything you’ve worked for.
Health challenges can affect success. Because they say, health is wealth. Even the most wealthy people in the world are not guaranteed of good health.
There are so many variables that luck controls when it comes to really making it in life.
And the truth is, some people are just more lucky than others.
Getting born into a wealthy family is luck. Nobody controls where or to whom they’re born to.
One man is born into a very poor wretched family, while another is born into a very wealthy one, and is sent to the best schools in the world, and learns multiple languages, meets different people and personalities and presented with all the opportunities he could ever ask for.
Did he really work for that? No. It’s luck.
And you can’t control that.
My Conclusion
There are 4 vital ingredients to making it in life.
- Hard work
- Patience
- Support
- and luck.
The first 2 are the most important. Have the first 2 to the fullest extent, and you’re 99.99 percent certain of making it in life.
